Are You Stable?

We collect the minimum needed to make the site useful. Nothing more. Here’s the full list.

What we collect

Quiz answers. Stored anonymously with a random session ID. We never link them to your identity unless you give us your email.
Email address (only if you enter one). Used to send you the newsletter you subscribed to.
Saved-result hash. The /saved/[hash] URL you generate contains your result, compressed and encoded. No PII. Delete the URL and it’s gone from anywhere it was shared.
Anonymised analytics. Funnel completion, click-through rates. No browser fingerprinting.

What we don’t collect

Names. Phone numbers. Postal addresses.
Bank account, card, or wallet details.
Cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies

One first-party cookie holds your analytics consent choice. localStorage holds your in-progress quiz answers and your last result so the site works on refresh. Decline analytics in the cookie banner and we won’t load any analytics scripts.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to delete or export your data at any time. Use Delete my data, or email privacy@areyoustable.com. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
Anonymous quiz sessions: 24 months.
Saved-result snapshots: indefinitely (no PII).
Partner click logs: 24 months.
